Happy Birthday Butterfly
This card was made with a friend - her second ever card and she was delighted with it. The picture doesn't show the true colours - the background is a soft green opalesque card and the butterfly is the same green but in glittery card. The base card is white opalesque and the butterflies are decorated with white pearls to match. The greeting is made from silver Happy Birthday and Mum peeloffs which have been coloured green, mounted on white satin paper which has been stuck on the same glitter green card used for the butterflies.

Happy Anniversary Hearts
Made this using my Sizzix heart cutters and Stampin Up stamps. Used the Stamp-a-Majig to line up the stamps so the windows were over them and was very impressed with how easy it was to get it all perfectly aligned.
The pearl blue card was wrapped with blue and white striped twine and then mounted on foam pads over the heart stamps (the flowers on the stamps were highlighted with glossy accents).
I then simply added the pearls and sentiment (and used up the heart cutouts for the inside and the back of the envelope)

Flowers 'with love'
This card was hard work!!!
The basic design was copied from a magazine but I didn't have the same papers or cutters so I adapted it to suit. The base is a 7" square and then two more pieces 7" x 4".
The card is too wide to fit through the Big Shot so I had to work out how to make it as the magazine instructions wouldn't work.
I laid the 2 side pieces on top of each other and the circle shape on them (the middle of the shape lined up with the edge of the card and then ran it through the big shot. I folded a sheet of pink butterfly patterned paper (7" x 7") in half and cut the shape out of that in the same way (making sure it was at the same height on the paper). Then I cut the pink paper in half and stuck it on the card. The card sides were then stuck to the main piece (folding the excess at the back). The back and front of the main square were covered with more pink papers. The cut out circle was then stuck on to line up with the aperture.
Then the whole lot was decorated with swirls cut out of more papers, with fabric flowers secured with brads, with a small With Love greeting, and with a blue butterfly.
Lastly I cut more white card to neeten the insides of the front edges and cover the brad wings.
Heart Wedding Cards - 3 options
Personalised Hearts
The hearts were cut out of teal card and white glossy card using Sizzlets nested hearts (the white ones were then cut smaller by hand and embossed using a flower embossing folder). The small flowers were cut out using an X cut punch and then the card scrunched up so it could be separated into layers. The 2 layers were then put on top of each other and stuck down with the petals bent up slightly. White stick on pearls were then used to decorate.
Purple Hearts
Purple card was cut into squares half an inch and one and a half inches smaller than the card, and then embossed with Fiskars hearts and flowers plates. More card was cut into hearts shapes and embossed with a cuttlebug swiss dots folder. White card was cure into squares slightly larger than the purple squares and white hearts 'the next size up' cut out. The pieces were mounted as in the photo and decorated with a greeting mounted to match and with white pearls and a silver bow.
Just for You
This card was made in much the same way as the purple hearts card but the white was embossed instead of the coloured card. A green dashed line was also drawn round the edge of the white card to give a bit more definition and a white ribbon wrapped round the top layer. Green pearls were used and a bow cut out of shiny black paper.
BEE Happy
Made this for friends who were moving into a new house.
The backing paper was one I'd had for some time from an old edition of Making Cards. The bee was cut from black card using a Spellbinders die, I then cut the yellow stripes from another bee, sticking them on and then using Gloss accents to give the body some depth and shine. I used glitter glue on the wings. The bee was stuck on mottled pale blue card, mounted on greed and wrapped with blue organza ribbon. The BEE happy sentiment was printed on white and mounted on more mottled blue and green card. The whole card was decorated with blue stones, paper and felt flowers, and leaves in various shades of green.

Flower girl stamped Card
This card was made to use up leftovers and to try out a freebie stamp!!
The base is an A5 card cut a bit short and covered with patterned paper. A panel of blue spotty paper was wrapped with a pink and white spotty ribbon and mounted on top.
I then stamped a blue flowery tag with a picture of a girl holding flowers and coloured it all in pencils before stanping a greeting at the bottom and tying a snippet of ribbon through the hole at the top.
The tag was then mounted on the card. I then made a 'with love' greeting and mounted that on the papers I'd used and decorated both that and the base with pink pearls.
Baby Girl Congratulations
This card was made when I was trying out a new embossing folder.
The base is an A5 pink card with one corner rounded. The white shiny embossed paper was then rounded to match. I then cut a pink scalloped oval using 2 nestabilities frames and pink hand made paper to create a frame for a matching oval cut in acetate. The bear topper was stuck to the acetate and the whole oval piece mounted on the white card using foam pads so it sits above the base.
Pink and white ribbon was then stuck around the white card before it was mounted on the base and trimmed with pink jewels and a greeting.
